Are you using non-powered for connection hubs? I assume that you have already tried to connect to a different USB port on your computer? Rear ports are better than using all the front ports on most machines (due to wiring and connections, I think). I want to especially this for video recording, to get the LifeCam program to work is essential. Any help to get this thing to run would be really appreciated. I checked all the posts on what I could find, the most common suggestion was to uninstall the Nero software, but I don't have any Nero software installed. I uninstalled the driver from the CD and it redownloaded go web site (did not work). I am running Vista Home Premium SP2 x 64, completely up to date with windows update. However, whenever I try to run the software LifeCam itself, I get the pointer for a second, and then it crashes and I get the message "LifeCam.exe has stopped working". The question is not the device itself, because I can see the video in the video settings Live Messenger window, and the test microphone also works.
